Christianity makes extraordinary claims: that a Creator exists, that He has revealed Himself in history, and that Jesus of Nazareth was not merely a religious teacher but God.
A Brief Case for Jesus puts those claims on the examination table.
It is a short, cumulative argument built from science, philosophy, history and the biblical record — written not to demand belief, but to ask whether Christianity earns its place as an intellectually defensible account of reality.

The book does not begin by assuming that the Bible is true and reasoning outward from there.
It begins further back.
Is there good reason to believe a Creator exists at all? If so, is there good reason to identify that Creator with the God of the Bible? Can the biblical documents be treated as credible historical sources? And if they can, what are we to make of the man at the centre of them?
The case progresses one question at a time. Each conclusion becomes the starting point for the next.
The case begins with the universe itself.
Through the Cosmological, Intelligent Design and Fine-Tuning arguments, Part I asks whether an intelligent Creator is the best explanation for why anything exists at all—and for the remarkable order and conditions we find within what exists.
Part II turns from philosophy and science to history.
Using the kinds of tests historians apply to other ancient documents, it examines the transmission, internal characteristics and external corroboration of the Old and New Testaments.
Part III considers the person at the centre of Christianity.
Who did Jesus understand Himself to be? Did He fit the Jewish expectations of the Messiah? Did He claim divinity? And what best explains the extraordinary claim on which Christianity ultimately stands or falls: that He rose from the dead?
—A Brief Case for Jesus
For the intellectually serious skeptic who is open to the possibility of God or Christian faith, but unwilling to accept either without good reason.
You do not need to begin convinced. You only need to be willing to follow the argument.
For the Christian who believes, perhaps deeply, but has never built the intellectual scaffolding beneath that belief.
The aim is not merely to know what you believe, but to understand why that belief can survive scrutiny.
